Twenty-five local youth and their families came out Saturday for our first Junior Pheasant Hunt of 2015. It was a beautiful morning at the Miller Farm Habitat Project. The kids warmed up with some trap shooting, then took to the fields guided by their mentors. Eighteen top-notch hunting dogs provided plenty of flushes, and we finished up with a great lunch. Thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and donors who make these events possible and drive our mission of NO CHILD LEFT INDOORS. During an opening morning hunt in 20147 at SGL 202 four chapter members bagged a limit of some nice birds. The two dogs worked well together, Rudy would find them, Max would flush them and bring them back to the hunters.

Congratulations to Chapter Chef Chuck DeAngelo, who dropped this monster Erie County buck on October 22nd. Many of you know Chuck as the hot dog and coffee man at our Junior Pheasant Hunts over the years.

The kids warmed up with some trap shooting, then took to the fields guided by their mentors. Fourteen top-notch hunting dogs provided plenty of flushes, and we finished up with a late lunch.
