Junior Pheasant Season Kicks Off!

Twenty-five local youth and their families came out Saturday for our first Junior Pheasant Hunt of 2015. It was a beautiful morning at the Miller Farm Habitat Project. The kids warmed up with some trap shooting, then took to the fields guided by their mentors. Eighteen top-notch hunting dogs provided plenty of flushes, and we finished up with a great lunch. Thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and donors who make these events possible and drive our mission of NO CHILD LEFT INDOORS. Chapter members shoot a limit

During an opening morning hunt in 20147 at SGL 202 four chapter members bagged a limit of some nice birds. The two dogs worked well together, Rudy would find them, Max would flush them and bring them back to the hunters.
